Whitney grew up, went to school, and raised her two sons in Calgary Glenmore. She’s married to Suli. She lives blocks away from the site of her grandfather’s acreage where she rode horses as a child. Studying economics and political science, Whitney graduated from the University of Calgary.
Matt has called Calgary his home since he was seven years old. He and his wife Tarena have lived in Auburn Bay since 2011 where they are raising their four children. As a husband and father, Matt has become increasingly concerned about the direction Alberta is heading under the NDP.
Since taking his seat in the Legislature, Jason has fought for the interests of everyday Albertans, pushing the NDP to take action on market access, jobs, and the economy, while calling them out for their close friendship with Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government in Ottawa.
Jason is the leader that will renew the Alberta Advantage, stand up for our province and build an Alberta Strong and Free.

Lily’s family came to Canada as Vietnamese immigrants when she was six years old. Since then, she has had the pleasure of calling Edmonton her home. It was here that she was able to raise her family, obtain a Bachelor of Management with a major in Human Resource and Labour Relations, and work in the private sector as a finance broker for 14 years.
Martin moved to West Yellowhead more than a decade ago because he believes that in Alberta, through hard work, determination, and sacrifice, anyone can prosper. After seeing how the NDP’s misguided and out of touch regulations and taxes are pushing jobs out of the province, squeezing working families, and eroding the Alberta Advantage that helped my family thrive, he decided to get involved in politics.
Just like Saskatchewan’s former Premier Brad Wall, Jackie was born and raised in a farming community in southern Saskatchewan. Brad always talked about how, because of 12 years of NDP government, an entire generation is missing from Saskatchewan because they had to leave to find work. This election is one of the most important in Alberta’s history because we cannot afford to have the same thing happen here with another NDP government.
Jason has 30 years of distinguished public service, including serving Alberta Legislature as a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Calgary-Hawkwood (2012-2015).
He holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Calgary (1990) and has dedicated his career to public service, promoting healthy families, strong communities & economic prosperity.
Kaycee worked tirelessly for Jason Kenney during the two leadership campaigns and throughout the pursuit of conservative unity. He was involved in the organization of many constituencies for the PCs delegate selection meetings, PCs and Wildrose unity vote and UCP leadership vote. Kaycee has been a constituency association president and has sat on the boards of other UCP constituency associations, including Edmonton-Southwest Constituency Association where he lives.
Ric has served the citizens of Calgary-Hays as their MLA since he was first elected in 2012 and re-elected in 2015.
During his first term, Ric served as Minister of Transportation, Minister of Infrastructure, and Minister of Jobs, Skills, Training, and Labour. Ric also sat on the Treasury Board and the Government Operations Committee.
Nicholas lives in Calgary-Currie with his wife Christine and their son Eric. Prior to becoming a lawyer and a business owner, Nicholas received a B.A. in Economics, and a B.Com., with distinction, both from the University of Alberta. He then received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan. After working for an international law firm, he started his company in Calgary-Currie and scaled it up to do business across Canada.
Laurie is an experienced legal professional, with 18 years of experience as a prosecutor with both the Federal and Alberta Departments of Justice, and 16 years of experience as a Sitting Justice of the Peace (Commissioner) to the Provincial Court of Alberta, Traffic Court Division. In 2012, Laurie was appointed Citizenship Judge for Edmonton, Northern Alberta, and the Northwest Territories.
Dale Nally brings with him decades of private sector experience managing and leading business units that generate between 50 million and 80 million dollars in revenue. He has a Masters Degree in Education and a passion for learning. His experiences will be welcomed in the UCP caucus as there will be a lot of work to do in bringing accountability back to the Government of Alberta.
As a married mother of three, Karen is concerned with how the NDP is failing Alberta’s families. Their out of touch taxes and lack of support for the oil and gas industry is pushing investment and jobs out of the province. And their out of control deficit spending is burdening all future Albertans under a mountain of debt.
